Professional Bio
Titus L. Daniels, MD, MPH, MMHC, is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases within the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He is an infectious diseases physician with expertise in health care epidemiology and antimicrobial stewardship. Dr. Daniels (he/him/his) also has a strong interest in the administration of health care. Clinical interests include the treatment of a wide variety of infectious disease with a focus on orthopaedic-related infections, sexually transmitted infections, and HIV/AIDS including pre- and post-exposure prophylaxis. He enjoys developing new clinical and administrative programs that provide positive impacts for patients and providers alike. In addition to a broad clinical interest, Dr. Daniels has held numerous leadership roles, including Chief Medical Officer for the Community Health and Hospitals Division of the University of Chicago Medicine Health System, Chief Operating Officer for Ambulatory Services at VUMC and Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs in the Department of Medicine at VUMC.
