Professional Bio
Vasiliy V. Polosukhin, MD, PhD, is a Research Professor of Medicine in the Divison of Allergy, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine within the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
His current scientific interests are focused on the fundamental pathogenesis of respiratory disorders in soldiers returning from Southwest Asia and Afghanistan.
Dr. Polosukin received his MD at the Tomsk Medical Institute, Tomsk, Russia, his PhD in Pathology from the Institute of Clinical and Experimental Medicine, Novosibirsk, Russia and Doctor of Medical Sciences in Pathology and Anatomy from the Institute of Clinical and Experimental Lymphology, Novosibirsk, Russia.
