Professional Bio
Vicki Keedy, MD, is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology and Oncology, Department of Medicine, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
She received a bachelors degree in microbiology at Indiana University and a medical degree at the University of Cincinnati. She completed her internal medicine residency and hematology/oncology training at VUMC and received her Masters of Science in clinical investigation at Vanderbilt.
Dr. Keedy is an internationally recognized specialist in the treatment of soft tissue and bone sarcomas. She serves as a content expert for the GIST section on UPtoDate, and is the Associate Editor for soft tissue sarcomas, bone sarcomas, GIST and desmoid for ASCO's Cancer.net.
Dr. Keedy's research focuses on treatment trials in sarcoma and early phase clinical trials. She is an active member of the Sarcoma Alliance for Research through Collaboration and Connective Tissue Oncology Society.
