Professional Bio
Victoria Stephens, PhD, is a postdoctoral fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Celestine Wanjalla in the Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Medicine, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science with a minor in Chemistry from Albany State University and a PhD in Molecular Pathology and Immunology from Vanderbilt University. Her doctoral research focused on the impact of prenatal toxicant exposure on the immune system and reproductive health of offspring in adulthood.
Dr. Stephens' current research explores the immune mechanisms underlying the adverse health outcomes seen in individuals living with cardiovascular disease and HIV.
