Professional Bio
Timothy (Yinghao) Su, MD, PhD, is a Research Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Epidemiology within the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He earned his MD and PhD degrees in Shanghai and completed an oncology fellowship at Harvard University before joining the faculty at Vanderbilt. Dr. Su’s research is focused on prognostic and predictive biomarkers in breast and lung cancers, colorectal adenoma recurrence biomarkers, and colorectal cancer prevention. The main goal of these studies is to translate the fast-growing information of cancer molecular biology into advances in patient care so that the new sensitive and specific diagnostic, prognostic and predictive tests may be developed.
