Professional Bio
Zack Watson, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Section of Palliative Care, Division of General Internal Medicine, Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC).
He earned a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Mississippi State University prior to attending medical school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Following medical school, Dr. Watson completed combined residency training in internal medicine and pediatrics at VUMC before completing fellowship training in Hospice and Palliative Care, also at VUMC.
After completing his medical training, Dr. Watson joined the faculty and primarily cares for patients on the inpatient palliative consult service and in the Palliative Care Unit at Vanderbilt.
