Medicine Grand Rounds - Neilson Society

Two speakers will be: 

Ruben Martinez-Barricarte, PhD, an assistant professor in the Division of Genetic Medicine and Clinical Pharmacology within the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC). He will speak on the topic "From autoinflammation to brain infection, expanding the clinical spectrum of complement deficiencies."

Mona Mashayekhi, MD, PhD, is a physician-scientist in the Division of Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism, Department of Medicine at VUMC. She will speak on the topic "Immunometabolism and Cardiovascular Benefits of Newer Therapies for Diabetes."
