Professional Bio
Sean Huang, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Geriatric Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center with a secondary appointment in Biomedical Informatics. He is currently also Director of Clinical Informatics for the division. He participates in funded research projects surrounding geriatric medicine and informatics. He completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Illinois in Chicago and a geriatric medicine fellowship at Rush University Medical Center. Prior to joining Vanderbilt in 2022, he spent two years in a clinical informatics fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He completed a Master of Data Science at the University of California, Berkeley. He is interested in using technology and data science to solve clinical problems.
