Professional Bio
Edward "Teddy" Hughes, MD, is a clinical fellow in the Department of Medicine’s Division of Geriatric Medicine at Vanderbilt Health.
Dr. Hughes grew up near Knoxville, Tenn., where he attended the University of Tennessee - Knoxville. He attended medical school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and completed an internal medicine residency at the UT-Ascension St. Thomas program in Nashville.
His interests include ways to prevent and manage hospital-induced delirium as well as weakness in older adults. In his free time, he likes hiking and playing disc golf.
