Research
Hospitalist investigators are actively involved in interdisciplinary research related to quality improvement, patient safety, implementation science, care transitions, medication management, and health communication. A well-developed research portfolio includes extramural funding from the NIH, AHRQ, CMS, PCORI, and VA. Hospitalist faculty play leadership roles in:
